Do you see this gal? I like her quite a lot.
And I’m very proud of her for the way she has grown in her confidence and skills performing with the drama/dance team at church.
In addition to our big, 3-night drama that we did the week before Easter, we also had a 15-minute presentation for Easter Sunday. Sarah had a featured performance and did so well in her role; she’s come a long way.
One of my favorite parts was when the lyric said, “And suddenly a melody filled the air, riding wings of wind, it was everywhere.” Sarah acted as though she was directing a large orchestra . . .
made up of the other performers “playing instruments.” So beautifully creative.
And the children who were in it? Absolutely darling.
Here are a few more photos of the performance. I’m so thankful that the church is able to use the gifts of dance, drama and music to help tell a timeless story in a new way.
GOOD TO KNOW YOU’RE GONNA KEEP HER!
You have such amazing talent among your congregation, that’s for sure!
Mrs. Pam,
Yes, I know you were probably so worried that we WEREN’T going to keep her, weren’t you?
She’s a keeper!
Steve, I would have to agree.
