No baby yet . . .although that’s probably a good thing because yesterday and last night, Nathan had a (rare) migraine and Meagan had an intestinal virus. NOT such great circumstances for child birthing!
So we continue to stand by waiting for The Call that will turn our lives upside down and fill our hearts with more love than we can imagine.
While we wait, I’ll post a few photos I took of Sarah last week at an ocean-side wedding that Steve performed.
Since Steve was pretty tied up doing his wedding duties, I was thankful to have Sarah to hang out with. She was also my official Carrier of Things as I snapped a few photos.
We were both impressed with the glasses of San Pellegrino sparkling water served to us- with two perfect blueberries afloat in each glass.
.
Sarah and Steve were examining some bit of loveliness across the room. This particular beach house was replete with all things lovely . . .
right down to the bathroom decor. Cool place!
Beautiful daughter.
Beautiful day.
No doubt about it…she’s a beauty! How nice of Nature to provide her with such a beautiful setting…so she could outshine it!
Jan,
What a sweet comment. Although I have to say, it takes quite a lot to outshine the beauty of nature!
Such a beautiful “subject” for shooting pics! Thursday sounds like it would’ve been a terrible day for a baby! As someone who gets more than the rare migraine (in my neurologist’s words I have “severe, disabling, chronic, daily migraines”) I’m not sure how he would’ve made it? And Meagan? Poor thing! When is she actually due? I think you said if she made it till “now” they wouldn’t try too stop her. She sure is the perfect example that every pregnancy is different! I can’t wait to “meet” this beauty & see Noah in his roll as BIG BRO! This baby girl is going to have Nathan wrapped around her little finger! There’s something about daddies & daughters! I do hope everyone is feeling better!
Jodi,
Yes, we were quite thankful Madi did not show up during that very difficult 24-hour period. Whew! I’m sorry to hear you have migraines so frequently. I cannot even imagine.
Madi is actually due June 27 but Meagan has been having contractions for the past month, which is why she was put on bed rest. When she hit week 36, the doctor said she could refrain from taking the “stop the contractions medication” and let labor start. But . .. it hasn’t started yet! She’s now in week 37.
And I agree. I can’t WAIT to see Nathan with a daughter.
Beautiful pictures. Sarah is always a lovely subject. Hope parents are better now. Noah cannot take care of both of them.
Ann,
You’re absolutely right. Noah would have his hands full taking care of the whole family. They are all feeling better now!
I don’t know…….something tells me that little angel could’ve handled it! And to really show everyone up he could’ve delivered Madi if the doctor was running late.
ditto on how beautiful Sarah is…
hope mama and papa are quite well when Madison makes her debut.
Mrs. Pam,
Mama and papa are quite well and are just ready to meet that sweet girl!
I always dreamed of a beach wedding! Sarah is classically beautiful as always. That girl is so photogenic. Love the last pic.
So.glad as well that baby didn’t arrive in the midst of a migraine and virus. Exciting days!
Guerrina,
Well, even though you didn’t get a beach wedding, I hope you enjoyed experiencing one from a distance. It really was a beautiful event.
Nice. Sarah looks great and very serene. Is she taking a break from classes this summer?
Lesley,
Sarah is taking an online math course but other than that, she is getting an academic break.
So correct….beautiful daughter and beautiful photographs.
Mary,
I’m thankful for ALL the beauty in my life–including the beauty of sweet blog friends like you!
