The Spate of Momentary Mischievousness

December 21, 2017

We all went for a walk on Tuesday and as I was coming up behind my two kids and two grandkids I thought what a lovely juxtapositioning of the sibling generations it was.  I yelled ahead to Nathan and Sarah, “I am going to get some pictures of you with Noah and Madi.  Just keep walking the way you are.”

This maternal instruction got good results . . .

for a few seconds at least.

Then the mischievous side of Nathan started to emerge.

This, in turn, rubbed off on his sister.

After the spate of momentary mischievousness, order was restored once more.

Happy Christmas weekend to you!

Our daughter took pictures of us and our grandkids from behind as we were walking at their cabin. The oldest was about 8 or 9, she is now 24. We cherish those pictures and these of your kids and grandkids are no exception. Cherished to be sure. Happy and blessed Christmas weekend to the whole family.

      Sharyn,

That picture sounds absolutely wonderful. No wonder you cherish the pictures of walking the cabin; sounds wonderful!

So thankful for the technology of being able to take pictures.

Fun pictures! They remind me of my family and kids and grands….they all can get so goofy in an instant, thanks (usually) to my other half. He is quite the instigator. LOL! Fun times.
The weather looks beautiful there. Enjoy! Today is the first day of winter and we finally are getting some colder weather. We have been unseasonably warm here with highs in the upper 50’s! Now today, cold winds, wind chills and freezing drizzle. Hello winter! 🙂

      LeeAnne,

You made shiver talking about cold winds, wind chills and freezing drizzle! Of course, it DOES makes things feel more Christmas-y when the temps drop.

Love that your family has so much fun together!
