When Smittenness Wins Out

December 26, 2013

We are leaving in a few minutes to head back home but before we pack up, I wanted to get a few quick pictures posted from yesterday featuring You Know Who.

I am so utterly smitten with this grandson of mine that I am breaking my own rule of not overloading my readers with grand baby pictures.

Sometimes smittenness just wins out.

Nathan was in his usual goofy mood, flapping a towel at me while I was trying to take a picture.

Since I’ve never been a grandma before, a couple of times throughout the Christmas visit I asked Noah if I was doing an okay job at it.

This is what he told me. “Thumbs up, Grandma, thumbs up.”

Be still, my heart.

He must be taking after his Grandad with the moustache. His parents look tired he obviously likes to stay up partying at night.

Enjoy your visit it’s so nice to spend time with family. He is such a cute baby.

Best wishes to you all for Christmas and the New Year.

so precious! gotta tell you about the e-mail photo I got yesterday from my first Grandson who is 23. He made “my” Rudolph peanut butter sandwiches (triangle bread, m&ms for eyes and nose, and pretzel antlers) that I made for about 20 years, when his family would come for Thanksgiving and an early Christmas celebration. He said they were a tradition that he makes every year. Wonder if Noah’s mustache will be his Christmas tradition…..

    Happy Boxing Day!

      Mrs.. Pam,

How dear to read about a grandson tradition that has lasted so many years! Can’t wait to start traditions with Noah–hopefully they will also last 20 years and more!

Causing me to smile before 7AM! Beautiful pictures as usual. Outstanding photographic subject. You can never have too many Noah pictures. (It’s ok for the other grandma to say that, right? LOL)

      Sheri,

I’m happy to get to make you smile so early in the morning! 🙂 I figured you might be “just a little interested” in my subject.
