Slowing Down Pictures For A Hurrying Up World

September 26, 2012

All peaceful pictures in this post are courtesy of today’s early morning bike ride. My hope is that these photos will lower your blood pressure a little and provide a calm respite in the middle of a busy day.

(Note: Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for a Nathan and Meagan Update.)

Lynn, so proud of you! You are turning into a regular commenter! 🙂 Yes, love it when there’s no wind and the water is so smooth. There’s usually some sort of a breeze around here, so a calm day is a nice change.

I’ve read Sherry’s blog, so I already know what the Nathan and Meagan update is, but I won’t spoil the fun. 🙂 Love both of the blogs!

The water looks like glass! So pretty! I’ve enjoyed all the pictures this week and they definitely have been a peaceful pause from the world this week. Have a great ‘rest of the week!’

So pretty … with a nice, calming effect. 😉 You have a real talent in photography, Becky! Do you ever frame pictures you take? Some look like they could even be postcards! Simply beautiful … and beautifully simple. 🙂

Lizzi Lou, I haven’t framed any pictures yet; should do that at some point in my life! So glad you enjoyed the pictures–that makes me happy.

After a rather stressful, rain filled, traffic jammed drive to work this morning, I greatly appreciated the “slowing down” photos. I could just sit down in one of those chairs – love the b&w photo. Very interested in what the Nathan and Meagan update might be. Also, are those orbs in two of the photos or something in the water. Just wondering. I am fascinated when orbs show up in photos. So much to read into that occurrence if you choose to do so. Smile.

Mary, a stressful, rain filled, traffic jammed rive to work definitely needs to be followed up with some peaceful picture gazing. Glad i could be of service! 🙂

These pictures are amazing! It is raining here today. I am not complaining because we need the rain, so I really enjoyed looking at such beautiful pictures. I will be looking forward to tomorrows post about Nathan and Megan. Have a nice day!
