Before getting to today’s post I just wanted to mention that we’ll be taking Snowy into the vet in a little while. For the past couple of days, he’s been making a coughing/choking sound and today it has gotten a whole lot worse; he’s probably coughed 150 times already this morning. He’s also drinking a lot and not urinating like he should which of course brings up all of our old concerns about his kidney stones/liver issues.
This is a frantic week already with dress rehearsals today and tomorrow and a huge Easter drama to perform on Thursday and Friday plus a big service on Easter Sunday. We’re already sort of “maxed out” so to throw this into the mix is a tough thing. Sarah was so concerned about him before she left for school this morning; those two are such good buddies.
Snowy has become such an integral member of our family that I get teary-eyed just thinking about him fighting something potentially serious. I’ll let you know what we find out.
And now on to today’s post . . . plenty of serene pictures to bring peace to my worried heart.
A few blocks up the road from our house is a waterfront wedding facility where a member of our church got married last summer. When I was at the wedding, I remember thinking how lovely the whole area was and so, on a recent early morning ride, I pointed my bike in that direction to see if the landscape around the wedding facility might be suitable for taking pictures.
It was.
I’m thankful today for early morning solitude, early morning quiet, early morning beauty.
Praying for Snowy and the family. Just read the message.
I don’t have Internet at home right now so I don’t have a lot of time to respond individually. But thanks to EVERYONE who has expressed your concern for Snowy. He says to tell you hello and “woof!”
Thanks too, for the comments about the photos. It makes me happy to take pictures and it makes me even happier when people enjoy looking at them!
Praying that Snowy is going to be okay!
Will be thinking of snowy and waiting anxiously for the news….hope it isnt anything too bad.
Sending up ‘puppy prayers’ and keeping our paws crossed…from our entire pack!
