Sarah should be getting out today! She’s been fever-free for 48 hours and her weight is holding steady. They are waiting on a last blood count to check that her platelets are holding. As of yesterday, her platelets had gone from 40 to 110, with the help of two infusions.…

For the third day in a row, Sarah has awakened with a no food/no drink order. Today it will last until at least 2 p.m. when her bone marrow biopsy and aspiration are over.
