Steve has been in Charlotte for the past few days.  He attended a funeral of a church member’s mother on Saturday and this morning he is at the hospital with his mom as she is having a golf ball-sized (non-cancerous) growth removed from her larynx.…

It occurred to me this morning that Sarah has been put to sleep three times in a little over a year.  Her line up includes two colonoscopies and one oral surgery. And then of course, there was the horrendous experience of the breast biopsy, where she wishes she had been put to sleep!. Here she is getting ready to leave for yet another sleepy-time experience.…
