The long awaited, greatly loved baby girl has arrived!
Madison Ryleigh Smith was born this morning at 2:24. She weighed 7 lbs., 9 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.
I am writing this on my phone as we drive to the airport. A friend blessed us with plane tickets and it is so lovely not to be driving 13 hours today. We will get to meet her this evening and are so excited! Meagan said she was really looking forward to introducing Noah to his little sister for the first time. Brings back memories of Nathan first seeing Sarah and jumping up and down.
Just wanted to let you know the news. And trust me, there will be bookoodles of photos to come.
Welcome to the world sweet baby Madison. You are blessed to be joining a wonderful family who have loved you from the moment they knew of your being. A wonderful Mommy, a terrific Daddy (I’m sure you already have him wrapped around your finger), a big brother who will watch over you as you grow up together, 4 loving grandparents, an awesome Aunt Sarah who is a wonderful role model, and so many others…great grandparens, aunts, uncles,cousins, and a large extended family. They are all just as blessed to have you in their lives, You will teach them many things and allow them the joy of once again seeing things through the eyes of a chilld as you grow and discover the world around you.
