Welcome to the new Smithellaneous!
I have been wanting to make a change for quite a while but always got instantly overwhelmed every time I started to do anything about it. Hiring a a designer to design and redo everything for me would have cost at least $250 which I didn’t have. Doing it myself would have cost me more of my sanity than I could afford to lose.
Happily, I found a middle ground with a designer who does pre-made theme templates and also (oh joy of joys) includes in her price the transferring of the old theme to the new. I designed the header myself and then for a mere $49, Kotryna Bass waved her impressively techincally expert wand and made all the complicated, behind-the-scenes things happen.

The new layout is very pretty! But the first thing that I noticed was the slogan change. :O You can go ahead and change it but I will always think of you in terms of your glass 😉

I know, right? 🙂 I really struggled with whether to leave the old slogan or come up with a new one. I love that the new one honors my terrific readers but I feel nostalgic about the old one, too.
