The winner of the beautiful Special Edition necklace is . . . .
KRISTA!
Here is her comment.
My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer while I was in my early 20′s. I remember thinking she was going to die. But, she decided to have a double mastectomy and thank the Lord, they got it all and she didn’t need any radiation or chemotherapy. It is almost 15 years later and she is still a survivor!
P.S.I must have been tired when I posted that. I also want to say that I am so thankful she is still here with us. I am so blessed to say that I have the best parents and I have no idea what I would do without them!
To Krista—congratulations and please send your mailing address to smithellaneous@yahoo.com
And to everyone else—THANK YOU for sharing your stories and your memories of the special woman in your lives affected by breast cancer. I can’t tell you how inspired I have been by reading your words.

I’ll close out with a few pictures that show why our new dog, Summer, is addictive. Once you have a 5- pound dog snuggled on your chest like a newborn, why would you ever want to get up again!
I’m addicted to quiet time and quiet snuggles—can a 12-step Doggy Program be far behind?
Help!
I am the same way with my little Bichon, LizziLou! We could, definitely, start our own 12 step program … but I don’t think this is something worth giving up. Ever! 😉
I hear ya! This is something I’m not giving up–especially since it’s not illegal or fattening!
Congratulations Krista! Okay, I love my big dog but I see a definite advantage to a little, snuggly one. Not possible to cradle my Greyhound, although I think she would like to try. What a sweet baby girl you are, Summer.
Mary, if you could cuddle a greyhound, that would definitely be worth a picture or two. (Or a thousand.) 🙂
Healthy addictions are hard to come by! Don’t give this one up!
Guerrina, I hear ya! And I am keeping this one.
EEEEEEEEEEEEE! I’m SO excited! I opened this up at work and yelled ‘I won!’ when I saw it was me…and of course everyone looked to see what I won!
Also…as addictions go, yours is a good one! I would just forget and keep snuggling precious Summer!
Congrats, Krista! 🙂
Kristi, congratulations!!! So happy you won this beautiful necklace. I got your shipping information and will get it in the mail by Monday. Enjoy!
Oops. I meant to write, “Krista.” Middle aged brain kickin’ in here.
Don’t worry about it! I get called everything! I’m so excited to get and wear the necklace!
