Tomorrow morning at 6 a.m., I am leaving to take Sarah and another gal to Wilmington, NC; they’ll be attending a week-long Leadership Camp at UNC-W.
This afternoon, she was outside vacuuming the van and getting ready for the trip. Just as she was wrapping up the vacuum extension cord . . .
Steve pulled into the driveway. When he got out of the car, some spontaneous Daddy/Daughter Dancin’ ensued.
And then some Daddy/Daughter Huggin’ ensued.
Weβre gonna miss her and her happy heart and dancin’ feet.
I see Steve has a bag from Ace…his favorite place. π I am glad that Sarah is going again and I am proud of you for letting her go and be with…PEOPLE! She’ll have wonderful stories to share when she gets home.
Lisa,
You’re very observant! Yes, Steve had just returned from his second home–Ace Hardware. And Sarah had a great week being with . . . PEOPLE! π
I have been out of the office for a few days helping my Grandson celebrate his fourth birthday – what a great bunch of parties that guy had! Anyway, love the two posts I have missed – especially the hat and phone booth – I agree, Hollywood may come calling. Hope you fill your time with lots of great things to tell “dancin Sarah” when she returns.
The website does open now – couldn’t do it at all last week but could access the entries through the notification e-mails. It is a bit slower than befoe but I it is a small thing – I can wait – it is worth it!
Mary,
So happy you had a fun time celebrating four years of knowing that great little fella! π
guess Summer will have to step up to giving a little more lovin’… and with four feet, she ought to be able to meet the dancing challenge. I know Sarah will have a great and rewarding time!!!!
Mrs. Pam,
Yes, with Sarah gone, Summer has become doubly more important in my life. I love having a little creature to hug!
Thinking of you all this morning. Keeping you in my prayers.
The world would be a better place If everybody had such a fun-loving and dancing
Dad. I’m thankful for Keith …he’s a dancer, too π
Kim,
I agree. Happily dancing dads are great–glad there’s one in your family, too.
sweet memories being made!
Angela,
How very true. That one really made me smile.
Didn’t she go last year too? She ride in a car w/ boys? LOL! I think you wrote a BLOG post about not (or maybe intentionally, as your motherly right, embarrassing her)?
Jodi
Jodi,
I had forgotten that post–thanks for the reminder!
