Becky, I have already commented, but was reading in “Jesus Calling” today and this is part of what was written: When you bring me prayer requests, lay out your concerns before Me. Speak to Me candidly; pour out your heart. Then thank Me for the answers that I have set in motion long before you can discern the results. When your requests come to mind again, continue to thank Me for the answers that are on the way. Thank you Jesus!
Thinking of all of you with love & prayers. Just listened to your song “Blanket”….and being reminded of how God’s presence & peace covers us. His Blanket is around you & Sarah today. Stay warm in Him. Be blessed & refreshed. If you want to go to lunch together or Thrift Store shopping or whatever, give me a call or email. Kay
Beautiful, brave Sarah . . . Such an inspiration to so many. Praying that all of you find.comfort in His loving arms as He wraps them tenderly around you and holds you close as you wait for the results and that those results are good. Sarah has faced so much and always with such strength, courage and faith. Sarah is certainly a remarkable person. The world is a better place because of her. Waiting and praying with you.

Brave, beautiful, strong Sarah you got this and know there are so many praying for you. I can’t even imagine how hard the wait is for the results. I hope the next few weeks go by quickly and that you get a good report. Hugs
Sarah is very brave indeed. I am amazed that despite the pain and trauma, she is able to return to school the very next day after the biopsy. Sarah has experienced so much, yet she continues to move forward and live life well with courage and strength. It reminds me of a quote by Nelson Mandela: “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.”
Sarah I hope you are feeling more comfortable today. I’m sure you’re thinking what happened to me yesterday, I can’t believe it. Praying for great results
I think as parents we hurt more then they do. Children bounce back quickly and can compartmentalize there differant things in life. Better then we parents. We hurt so bad for them because that’s our heart walking around. Bless you Sarah! Becky keep the faith!! Hugs to ya’s!!
Wouldn’t you much rather it be yourself than your child? It double hurts when it’s on of our babies. I, too, have a brave one and it breaks my heart that he even has to be brave. But he soldiers on, and I have so much admiration for him, just like your Sarah. She is inspiring and a very strong young woman, thanks to you and Steve. Tomorrow will be a better day.
Yes, that is so very true. I would much rather go through the trauma myself; it would hurt a lot less. And I know there is a LOT of unseen, unnoticed bravery that goes on in your family from day to day . . . hugs to you!
You have raised such an amazing person. Sarah has always faced everything head on and ready to deal. She is such an inspiration to so many people. We can all learn from her.
Lots of hugs Sara, you are a trooper! Hope you have a wonderful day at school and take care! Praying for you and your family that you get great results in the next couple of weeks.
She was taught well about bravery. It does hurt our mamas’ hearts, though. I am confident she will be fine and getting back to school is probably very good “medicine” for her. Praying.
It's hard to believe I've been blogging that long. Many of you have been following since the first word was written all those years ago. Thanks to both old-timers and newcomers for being part of our story.
My goal is for Smithellaneous is to be a place where strangers become friends.
Praying.
