Any day that starts with this . . .
and this . . .
and this . . .
is a really, really good day.
In other news, Steve is feeling much better (after suffering from cold/flu for five days) and is back at work. However, Sarah is feeling so bad that she didn’t go to school today; I’ll be taking her to the doctor in a little bit.
I hope that the doctor was able to give PGC some meds and she starts to feel better! Let us know, please! Glad Steve is on the mend! How are you feeling? Random question (feel free to tell me to MYOB if you want)??? Who covers for Steve in the event that he’s ill and can’t lead the services, especially since it’s last minute? Hugs!
Jodi,
On this particular occasion when Steve was sick, he had already scheduled a guest speaker so that turned out well. In other cases though, should he get sick at the last minute, our associate pastor is a licensed minister and an excellent speaker, we have retired pastor in the congregation as well as another part time staff member who is an excellent speaker/teacher. And I’ve even covered for him a few times in the past. So thankfully, he’s got plenty of back up assistance.
Certainly hope all the Smiths are at full strength soon!
Liz,
Thanks–we’re workin on it! 🙂
I hope Sarah feels better soon!
Lesley,
Thanks. We’ve just got a thing about wanting our Sarahs to feel better, don’t we? 🙂
Here’s sending healing vibes your way, hope you all feel better soon <3
Nancy,
Thanks–you are so sweet!
Get better soon Sarah! Thinking about you and sending prayers you way.
Shawn,
Prayers are ALWAYS welcome!
Hope Sarah is okay – this flu/cold thing hangs on for a very long time – and be careful, I know too many people here that have had this illness turn into bronchitis and/or pneumonia. Take care – will say a prayer.
Mary,
Thanks for your sweet words; you have a gift of encouragement.
