Today is all about pictures!
I want to start with something I created in a cool online program called Slate It is so easy to use that if you have your pictures chosen ahead of time, you can put together a presentation similar to what I did below in less than ten minutes. It looks great and can be used for school, business or photography presentations. (Plus, it’s free, which is my favorite price point.)
This contains some of my favorite pictures of Nathan and Meagan. As we were doing the photo shoot, the two of them spontaneously launched into a dramatic, pretend ballet which was hysterical. I can’t keep from smiling every time I see those sweet and quirky photos.
Just click on this photo and when you get to the site, use your scroll bar to go all the way to bottom. Enjoy!
And here are the last of the Christmas photos. I’ve always believed that the best pictures are taken in between the “real” pictures. They really capture the people and the moments better than anything else.
Here is another set of pictures that shows all the happy steps leading up to this precious photo.
By the way, if you haven’t read through the comments in Monday’s post about Choices, be sure you do. It’s a great chance to get to know your fellow Smithellaneous-ites and the stories are so inspiring. Thanks for everyone who took the time to share about your choices.
Becky.
The pictures are so beautiful 🙂
Btw just a friendly reminder about the fact that maybe you should update the Smith page. After all Sarah is 20 and in college but more important is there is nothing about Madison . You are a twice-Grandma now 😀
Trine
Trine,
Thanks SO much for the reminder. I got that section all updated!
Love the pictures! As always, thanks for sharing them! It is a fun way to watch your kids/grandkids grow!
Nicole,
I always feel a little sad for moms and grandmas back in the days before pictures. There is so much joy to be found in seeing pictures from years ago and reliving those old memories. I’m thankful to live in the Picture Age!
Glad you enjoyed the photos; thanks for letting me know!
nothing happened on “The Smiths in Love”
but, I did think I should tell you that last night Nathan was in my dream. ????
He was hanging up two of my bulletin boards, but we weren’t in church.. outside some place… and then it turned out they weren’t my boards. one was for Hanukkah.
how crazy was that?
Mrs. Pam,
I just tried it on phone and computer and it worked fine. Did it not take you to another web site? Strange that it’s not working!
That is funny that you dreamed about Nathan hanging bulletin boards. I assure you, he would be very helpful with that if the task ever came his way. 🙂
I have an old browser, and some things just won’t open.
every month I have to e-mail the lawn service folks to say I can’t download their bill.
but, do they ever send it directly? NO………….
You are amazing. Wonderful pictures.
Ann,
Well, I have such dear, dear subjects to take photos of. I can’t go wrong!
