Road Trip Through the Sunrise

July 17, 2012

One of the reasons I left so early on Monday for my Retrieving Sarah Jaunt was so that I would have plenty of time to stop and take a few pictures.

Because there are few things better in life than a sunrise and a Nikon.

Once I left the Water Area of my trip, I got to the Rural Fields Area. And those made me every bit as happy, as you can tell by the way I just slung my van down a little side road and jumped out without even bothering to close the door.   (Because I am conscientious like that.)

I love blue water . . .

blue sky . . .

and a road trip through the sunrise.

Two extra seconds of waiting, one extra click . . . not too bad.  But we ARE working on finding a solution!

I just love these photos – two of my favorit things – the sea and the fields in the countryside.  Can’t wait to hear some Sarah stories from her week away.  So glad she had such a good time.  She deserves every minute for all the work and dedication she has put into life.

      Mary,

I know, I love the sea and fields, too.   So very peaceful, especially in the early morning sun.   Sarah continues to say how much she loved her camp last week; I’m sure hoping she’ll write a few stories about it!

    Jenna,

And thanks to YOU for braving the temporarily dysfunctional comment button and leaving your sweet words of encouragement.
