Quick Friday Night Post

March 2, 2012

Today has been incredibly busy and I just now had a chance to sit down and read  (and respond) to the comments from today.  You all are so much fun to hang out with and I love that you share your wisdom and humor in equal amounts!

I am now headed for bed (Yes, it’s only 8:18 pm, but when you’ve been AARP-ed, you’re allowed to go to bed early!)  We’re having an open house at our house Sunday night for my birthday so we’ve got a lot of prep to do that along with another big church event tomorrow night, along with a bulletin that is not yet printed, a house that is not yet cleaned, music that is not yet selected, and 2 media projects for Sunday morning that are not yet completed.  I figure if I go to bed early, I can hit it running early tomorrow morning.

Before though I go though, I thought I would share a very random and miscellaneous picture I just came across the other day on my way to find another photo.

Recognize anyone in this picture?  (Well, besides Sarah and me?)  Does anyone recognize a certain Meagan Hawley Smith?

Yep, she’s the furthest to the left of the four ladies lined up.  (Along with her two sisters and mom.)

Just thought that since you’ve seen so much of Meagan during our recent Wedding Wednesdays it might be fun to see her as a 14-year old!

    Dianna,

You’re absolutely right about that; I love the fact Meagan’s family and ours has such a rich history together. We’re blessed!

It really is SO super cool that Nathan and Megan have such a rich history together. Seeing this picture of your in-laws visiting Sarah in the hospital way before you guys were family must make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

It's hard to believe I've been blogging that long. Many of you have been following since the first word was written all those years ago. Thanks to both old-timers and newcomers for being part of our story.

My goal is for Smithellaneous is to be a place where strangers become friends.
