College Girl!

August 19, 2014

Today is the day that marks Sarah’s first day of college!  Unfortunately I am in Greenville for my infusion (in fact I’m hooked up right now) so Steve was the one to drop her off at 9 a.m.  I’ve since heard back from them and her first class went great.

Here’s looking at you, sweet girl!

Way to go Sarah! Hope all of your classes go as well as the first. No matter what, I know you will do terrifically. May God continue to bless you during this next chapter of your life!

Thanks, Linda! It’s nice to have that first day behind her.

Thankfully, today she doesn’t have to work or go to class so she can a breather before the rest of the week hits.

hope the second class was great, too!!

Congratulations, Sarah! My son started his first year of college yesterday at the University of Georgia. I think it was a challenge coming from a tiny, Christian school going into a HUGE public school like that. Prayers for a great year!!

      Suzanne,

I hope your son’s first day went well. That would be a HUGE transition for him; I’m sure he’ll be a little on the overwhelmed side for the first few weeks but pretty soon he’ll be settled in and not feel quite so swamped.

Congrats, Sarah! What a unique looking campus. Prayers for a great school year, with many new experiences and blessings.

      Janet,

It really is a neat little campus and it’s just about two blocks from the Manteo waterfront so she could walk there during her lunch hour. Thanks for the prayers and encouragement.
