Late Friday afternoon as Steve and I were taking a bike ride, I made a comment to him about how clean and clear the light looked. It was a pristine, unseasonably warm evening and the world around us was utterly gorgeous.
As we rode along, I realized I hadn’t gone out in a while just to take pictures so when we got back to the house, I grabbed Mr. Nikon, hopped in the car and drove about four miles down to the north bridge at the end of Roanoke Island to spend a blissful 45 minutes capturing clear light, great beauty, and God’s creation.
(Note: There is a new Readers’ Recipes tab in the Navigation Bar at the top of the page. If you have a great recipe you’d like to share with us, leave it in the comments and I’ll move it to the proper place. Or you can go to the contact tab and email it to me. I’ll also be adding another tab soon with some of my own favorite recipes.)
