Note: Before we get started, I want to mention that I am a featured guest poster today on a wonderful blog called Gray Hair and Acne. Be sure to stop by.
And now on to this week’s Wedding Wednesday . . .
One of the spots that Meagan and Nathan definitely wanted to include in our photo shoot was the bridge that crosses the bay in downtown Manteo.
And so off we went! One groom. One bride. One bridge.
These two pictures sum up Nathan’s teasing, quirky personality so well. I can’t look at them without smiling.
And then crying.

Because the chubby, cheery toddler-esque face that I remember so well from the past has mysteriously morphed into a man’s face. A truly grown up man’s face.
But the one thing that hasn’t changed? The twinkle in his eye and that sideways grin. I. Love. That. Boy. (Man.)
The happy recipient of the flowers.
I was hoping for a little wind during the session so that we could get a little dramatic movement in the photos. Well, we got us some wind!

Here are the shots that Sarah, my lovely assistant photographer took at the bridge location.
I look like I am really pouring out my heart to Nathan and Meagan about something as I’m putting on my camera. I have no idea what I was saying but I’m sure it was incredibly important, enlightening and life altering. (Or maybe I was just saying that I really, really had to go to the bathroom. Who knows?)

I especially love Sarah’s perspective in these three shots.
After the windy bridge photo walk, Nathan got his bride installed safely back into the Smith Mini Van so that we could go on to the next stop of our Photo Tour which was a downtown restaurant. Come back next Wednesday to read all about it!

Remember on Friday I’ll include a poll so that we can have an official vote on the “Read More” option. And as long as no one votes me in to be president, I’ll be happy with whichever way the poll goes.
